Polarities in Paradise

It is not without its polarities.
I’ve always known I am a
go between.
One who can walk between worlds.
Lately it’s been amplified.
Some days deep in the community traumas, magnified through the stories of the women and children I serve.
Other days high on a hill, briefly tasting luxury with a 280* view, teaching breath & presence to happy destination vacationers.
Both roles, rewarding.
I share the same essence of healing, connection and presence, but as a bridge I hold the chasm of difference.
As a humanitarian in an increasingly chaotic world that is so caught in its addiction to distractions, I wonder how true change, systemic change, change that benefits the many, truly happens.
